On May 29, 1935, NORMANDIE triumphantly entered the port of New York. The Blue Ribbon fluttered in the wind, and the letters N O R M A N D I E were hastily sewn in anticipation of the record. Created in 2020, this artwork is one of my very first and foreshadows the documentary style that I later developed.

Special attention was given to the certificate of authenticity, which includes one of the first texts by the author Adrien MOTEL. Initially planned for 30 copies, only 4 were circulated, making NORMANDIE 1935 a work as rare as it is emblematic.
